The flight to Vancouver

Hello everyone!!!
This is what I've written on the air plane from Frankfort to Toronto: (27.07.2011)
Finally the day has come of my long, long journey. I am awaiting the future with mixed feelings; on the one hand excitement and joy, on the other a bit fear and longing to my friends at home.
I really miss you all!!! =(
My day started at around 04.00 a.m. And I already arrived at parking lot of the airport at 06.30 a.m.
After some confusion where I actually have to go, I managed to drop my baggage and to get a verified bording card. As a lot time was still left, we enjoyed breakfast in one of the various cafés and bars in the airport. At 08.45 a.m. I said goodbye to my Mum and her partner and went on alone. Fortunately everything was alright with my hand baggage and I got through the control without any problems. After getting my passport verified and after waiting about half an hour, I could finally enter the air plane. A bit jealous I glanced at the business class seats with lot of space for feet and everything, but well I was satisfied with my seat at the aisle in the economy class as well. =P Shortly after 10.00 a.m. The plane started to move...and set off... altitude: approx. 36,000 feet, ground speed: 565 mph and air temperature: -61,6 ° F
Don't ask me how the dimensions are in our units. =D Ask google! =P
Hardly an hour later I was served yummy air plane food xD =D pasta with dried tomatoes and... ehmm... I dunno ^^. But well... it was eligible and that's the import thing. Altogether the flight from Frankfort to Toronto was quite comfortable. Even though I miss you all even more the more time passes by... ^^ Well, I don't want to bore with descriptions of my flights. So you'll hear from me again as soon as I have get used to the Vancouver city life =P =D

Hey guys,
that's my first entry in this blog. Of course I'll only write in English in here, realising right now how bad my vocabulary actually has become... let's hope that I'm getting better soon ;) =D
Yesterday (22th July) was - as some of you now - my farewell party. I was so glad how many of you shared with me the evening. Thank you so much for such a great Friday night the last time here in Germany. Thanks as well for the lovely presents...somehow touching... really =) And I absolutely still cannot imagine that I spend next weekend already in Canada. WoW... ^^ I do my best with writing entries in here as regularly as I am able to ... but I cannot promise anything.
I hope we'll see us soon again... I'll be back in June 2012 already ;) =P
Until our next get-together I wish you all the best time in Germany or where ever YOU'll be =D
